                                                 The colors just seem to be so calming.
                                             It is early morning, before the beautiful sun
                                             makes it's appearance for the new day! 
                                                   

Tide Pool

                              I wanted to capture the tide pools that form when the tide moves out
               and leaves some of the water behind in little pools.  The rippling designs are so
               interesting that the water has formed into the wet sand.  I think that nature is so
               beautiful, in it's colors and patterns.

Maybe if I teach my two Bichon pups to do some things around the house, (clean, dust, make the beds) I could devote every minute to doing more PAINTING!!!!!  (smile)

Rhythm of the Water 48 x36" Oil

Rhythm of the Water - I love the colors in my most recent painting!
It measures 48"x 36" oil on panel.
The painting has lots of greens and browns and touches of turquoise for some spark!
The water seems to have a personality, a life of it's own.. When I began this painting, I wasn't sure what direction it would take, or the colors it would be.  That's the greatest part of finishing a painting..the surprise when you're done, to stand back and see what you've created!

Pathway to the Ocean

My latest creation!  I just signed the finished painting moments ago. This painting gives the viewer a calm, serene feeling as if you are sitting on a dock, boat or beach chair enjoying the refreshing sea breezes and seaglass colors of the water. The reflections of the water seem to mesmerize you, allowing you to be relax, ponder and put off, until later, all the things you needed to do!
